My dad and my baby daddy. Father’s Day.

Felt like I spent most Father’s Day in the kitchen.

Although I did sneak away to make a Goodwill drop and Target run – kid free.

O! Kya Gurl, you’re so lovable.

There was lots of love and happy in the air.

I don’t have a good picture with my Dad.  But one of the memories that sticks is him telling me over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over: People don’t plan to fail they fail to plan

He is the biggest planner, saver, living simplest man I know.  Visually, my oldest son is simply a younger version, I’ll get a photo soon to share.  I owe a lot to my Dad, he impressed upon me the importance of my health and the value of a good education, a few things I am grateful for every.single.day.

I’m gonna see if I can get him to drive up next year.  Maybe? if I start now.

Hooray for Dads!
