Pancakes have become our Sunday morning staple. We love syrupy breakfasts, pancakes, french toast, mmmmmm.
Until you forget you’re outta syrup and you have a stack already cooked. Not to mention how many times you’ve watched puddles left on the plate go to waste.
I found an online recipe, it’s pretty much sugar water, (I adjusted it a bit, I also add a tsp of vanilla extract) - it works for us. I love maple, but my kids don’t quite understand the value, and hovering over them while they poor, well that’s just wack. So, until then, it’ll be homegrown.
